I am an Associate Member and mentor with the UK North chapter of the global entrepreneurs’ organisation, The Indus Entrepreneurs, also known as TiE. TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region.
The principles of TiE are reflected in its five pillars, mentoring, networking, incubation, funding and education. TiE has chapters across the planet from the US in the West to Australia in the East. TiE UK North is one of the two chapters in the United Kingdom, the other one being TiE London.
This particular event, being held on November 2nd 2020 is part of the TiE Entrepreneurs Series. This session brings together leaders from technology and manufacturing for a conversation on the future of this sector. Representing Equitus Engineering Limited, I will be talking about how to maximise the value digital technologies provide to the physical world of manufacturing. Also presenting on the day will be Deyrick Allen from IoT Horizon. We also have two panelists. Nick Johns, head of Digital Manufacturing with Graitec Limited, an Autodesk Platinum Partner will be talking a bit more about digital technologies and manufacturing. Mark Kane, who is the coach and facilitator for South Manchester with The Alternative Board will be talking about the role of leadership.
I shall post updates next week, following the event.
